SMB Community Hub

Role
UX/UI Designer

Team
2 designers, 1 design lead, and a cross-functional squad of PMs, BAs and a GTM team

Timeframe
2 weeks (within Aug - Sep 2021)

Project Overview

In the post-pandemic era, more and more small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are going digital. Canadian SMBs are actively searching for personalized tech solutions, but almost half of them are juggling up to 10 different IT vendors at a time. As one of the largest telecommunication companies in the country and a trusted service provider, TELUS is striving to create a personalized solution for SMBs to manage and drive their businesses.

I joined this project as a UX/UI Designer to help envision the digital solution for TELUS by creating and delivering high-fidelity adaptive web designs during four 2-week-long sprints. This specific case study covers the work I did during one of these sprints, which included organizing information architecture, exploring concepts through wireframes, designing the UI, and stitching visual designs together into InVision prototypes.

Outcome

Along with my team, I brainstormed and produced 20+ adaptive and scalable designs for the community hub (part of a larger solution), offering personalized, easy-to-navigate and audience-first content and support for SMBs.
